Wesson

Chris Wesson, a singer and songwriter, leads British alt/rock band WESSON. The four members of the band, who are all based in Milton Keynes, decided to join forces in order to find like-minded people who needed music as a part of their daily lives and as their very essence. WESSON, along with drummer Dale, guitarist Jimmy, and bassist Callum, create music that is relatable, conversational, and profound.

WESSON’s collective sound is a unique blend of pop, punk rock, and indie, with soaring vocal parts and a sound that is entirely its own because each band member comes from a different musical background.

WESSON is a soundtrack to everyday life events that touches on reflections and memories that pass them by. It has a gritty rock undertone, bold melodic bass riffs, and driving drum beats. Their honest and recognizable music is made possible by their organic approach to songwriting. The band shared that they hope to inspire others to be honest about their lives and not be afraid to be themselves by spreading messages of living unapologetically.

Made Me Happy

The band returns with “Made Me Happy,” a song that is based on personal experiences from their 2022 hit “Voices.” You can feel the intimacy of the lyrics and the feelings that lie behind them with a touch that is raw and honest.

Chris says that the band tries to take advantage of the fact that everyone has a different perspective on every situation in order to give each listener a unique experience.

“Made Me Happy” is an infectious indie/rock anthem that showcases their individuality. It is bursting with energetic instrumentation, soaring harmonies, and a chorus that is catchy as hell. “Made Me Happy” takes you on a musical journey and keeps you engaged from beginning to end.

WESSON are set for an exciting 2023, with more releases and gigs to be announced soon, after supporting The Bluetones, Callum Beattie, and Lucy Spraggan at their UK shows.
